I have a cannon mp 390 inkjet printer and i’m trying to print pictures on {laser photo paper} and the photos are not turning out very good is their a difference in the paper?

Laser photo papers are intended for business communications. They are not photo-base products (true photo papers), but nevertheless CAN yield equivalent high-gloss, high-resolution results as with inkjet photo papers.
Products vary widely in appearance, from a soft gloss finish to mirror-like photo finish. Most of the laser papers on the market provide a minimum capability of high-resolution accuracy and color reproduction for printing photo-realistic images.

• You print from home???

  http://walmart.com costs 12cents a print and they use a nice Fuji paper.
  I wouldn’t even consider printing at home unless the picture has “private content”.

• Go to http://www.wilhelm-research.com/ to check out various aspects of choosing paper to match your printer and ink.

  It is a good idea to at least try the manufacturer’s own paper, since they have formulated the paper to work well with their ink.

• To get the best photo you’ll need to use the paper that’s design do to just that. It’s a good idea to use the manufacturer recommended photo paper.Usually it’s glossy,semi glossy,….paper. Before printing you also need to set your printer to print from photo paper. Laser photo paper for your inkjet won’t give you good picture because it was design for inkjet printer.
