Canon Printer Tips – What All in One printer should I get?

I’m replacing an Epson cx4800 for Mom and was wondering which would be a good replacement. Cannon MP470, HP 4280 or Kodak 5100. She does mostly mailing labels a few pictures and a few text pages each month. I like the idea of Kodaks cheap ink but don’t know about their dependability. I get to fix any problems

Best Answer: I have seen the quality of the Kodak, and have not been impressed with it. As for fixing printers if they break, they are made to be replaced, not fixed.

I would look at the Canon or the HP. Owning printers from both companies I have been impressed with the service and quality of work (even though they are throw aways)

It is also possible to get refilled Canon cartridges now, just need to know where to look.

  • HP Photosmart
    scan,copy,pictures
does everthing fast cheap and high quality
  • Canon’s are rated pretty high. I have one and like it…..MP600. Ink cartridges are expensive and you have to buy the OEM because they have a computer chip on them.
  • I got an HP Photosmart All-In-One and the ink is cheap I think like 19 for the black and 23 or so for the color and it’s real good and I think it was like 100 bucks if that
  • My HP Deskjet 335 is an excellent l’il all in one.
