Cannon Printers

I have a cannon pixma mp530 its attached to an e-machines computer
if that matters…I downloaded pics from my card, they looked great on
the screen but are printing out dark.
looked at cannon menu, etc and see nothing that tells me how to correct it…if anyone can help, i would appreciate it..oh,yes talk to me
like I’m a 5 year old, cause computer stuff is new to me

Obviously, I gather you installed the printer software that goes with your Canon. If so, go in that printing menu. Their should be an option which controls the output mode.
Example, it wil show “Quality of print”. If you choose normal or draft, the print will be normal and lighter.
You can also control the amount of ink by using less. That is also part of the Canon software in the menus.

I have an e-mail in my Yahoo e-mail account, that I want to print out. I’ve noticed that when my printer tries to print out the text of the e-mail, that it prints it out like it’s not contacting the paper fully.
Do I need to go into the printer maintenance and run a cleaning program / option. If yes, which one?

The Printer is a Cannon Pixma ip3000, I’m using Microsoft Windows Xp.

Best Answer: Try cleaning the print heads.
The cleaning will probably be offered to you in stages – light cleaning first then more heavy duty cleaning if that doesn’t work

Hi. I am after some sotware called photorecord gold. It was bundled with the cannon i455 bubblejet printer and also available for purchase separately. I have been in contact with the manufacturers but the software has been discontinued for 2 years so they can’t help me. If anyone has a copy they are willing to share, swap or sell (you may have it and not even realise if you are like me and don’t often use the discs that come with your hardware) or know of any places that are likely to stock discontinued software i would aprreciate hearing from you

It keeps saying that my Cyan cartridge is low and I just replaced it!. I have a cannon S900. Is the jet clogged?

Best Answer: I believe your printer has ink tanks and a cartridge harness, take the cartridges out of the printer and reinstall them that usually helps, you can also lift the locking mechanism for the harness and reinstall that too
